Le Clos Robin is the ideal starting point to relax in nature. We recommend the “Circuit de Bouillé”, an 8 km loop (about 2hours) that starts directly around the cottage. This easy trail crosses the Grande Charnie forest and the charming village of Torcé-Viviers. It is the perfect choice for an immediate immersion in the forest, allowing families and groups to get fresh air without any transport logistics.
Sainte-Suzanne, Medieval Town and Panoramas
Only 10 minutes away, Sainte-Suzanne, the “Pearl of Maine”, looks over the Erve valley beautifully. This medieval village has a 17th-century castle and offers spectacular views from the wooded site of the Tertre Ganne. Do not miss the walk of the mills for a peaceful ride at the bottom of the ramparts. It is one of the most emblematic sites to explore around our cottage to combine fresh air and history. At 20 minutes, the Saulges Canyon offers a unique landscape with steep cliffs and decorated caves. You can discover a museum of prehistory before reaching the nearby village of Saint-Pierre-sur-Erve. The latter will charm you with its preserved architecture of the 17th and 18th centuries. It is an ideal trip to relax by the water in a wild and quiet setting.

The classified site of the Alpes Mancelles will seduce you with its spectacular panoramas on the Sarthe from the viewpoints of Saint-Léonard-des-Bois.
